Nutrisystem's Vegeterian Diet Plan Review

Nutrisystem Nourish now has a vegetarian diet plan. It follows the glycemic index guide, like its’ primary plan, which allows for healthy carbohydrates and protein.

 

Like all of Nutrisystem’s meals everything is pre-packaged and that can be a good or a bad thing depending on if you like (or at least can stomach them) pre-packaged meals. I don’t have a problem with them, as long as they are a little tasty and quick to prepare. Heck if they are easy to repair, I don’t mind sacrificing a little on the taste) But that’s not a problem with Nutrisystem, because their plan while not gourmet, is pretty good.

Nutrisystem has some good food options. I’ll list some of them below in just a bit.

 

The thing about Nutrsystem and any diet for that matter, is that you have to be ready to make a lifestyle change. Nutrisystem isn’t cheap, most diet plans aren’t. So if you are going to spend the money, be sure that you are committed to changing your lifestyle habits after you lose the weight that you want . This means, smaller portions, exercising and skimping on the fat, salt and sweets. You should view Nutrisystem has a springboard, helping you to lose weight, and then be ready to eat right and exercise on a consistent basis, otherwise you will be wasting your money.

 

Nutrisystem is rare in that they are the only diet company that I know of that provides pre-packaged vegetarian meals, so that is a plus. Ready made meals made specifically for your lifestyle. They are also running a special for two weeks of free food, so now is an excellent time to try the program out. Sample Meal Options

Breakfast: Apple cinnamon oatmeal, blueberry muffin, cranberry granola bar, scrambled egg mix with cheese, cranberry orange pastry

 

Lunch: Black bean tortilla soup, homestyle potatoes with broccoli, vegetarian sloppy joes, fetuccine alfredo with veggies and mushrooms, tomato and corn chowder

 

Dinner: Past fagioli, flatbread pizza, mushroom risotto, pasta primavera with tofu, vegetable fajitas

 

Dessert: Almond biscotti, chocolate chip pudding, microwavable apple cake, chocolate peanut butter dessert bar, cherry jubilee pudding.
